Subtitled “Short narratives in film & photography,” Ian Coyle’s
Edits Quarterly appears to be a personal online editorial effort that
has begun with force...but it’s unclear if more will come. So far, we have
a single issue titled Voyager, dated Winter MMXI. Ian does love
little moments of formality dropped into the work. Roman numerals
perhaps reference his journey home to Italy, which acted as
inspiration for the issue. |

Agenda, a solid calendar
app for iPhone and iPad by savvy apps, is beautiful and fast, and feels
like a designer’s minimal dream date. But more than its “less UI,” Agenda is
an important part of a design conversation that’s been unfolding for
many months. |

Tiny Wings is a one-button game available on iOS devices (sorry Android owners). It is easy to learn, difficult to master, devilish to play, delightful to look at, quick to download. |
