House Industries found the opportunity to take on a dream project of epic proportions: redesigning the entire visual identity of master bicycle builder Richard Sachs. From a signature logo to the pinstriping on the bike tires, they have meticulously considered every detail.

House Industries is already known for typefaces, lettering, and product design, and here was the perfect overlap of all three—with another interest. It’s an established phenomenon: a disproportionate number of people working in the typeface design industry are also avid cyclists. Most of the team at House Industries fall into that camp, and their passion shows in the lengths to which they’ve stretched for this cycling icon.
