A4GOD is a book, exhibition and website curated by Marco Cendron and Alessandro Cavallini of POMO studio. Gathering illustrators living and working in Italy, it was born as a show-and-tell of the Italian illustration scene.

Are Italians a nation of illustrators? Marco Cendron of POMO says yes. He asked 105 illustrators to design one board each, size A4, that answers the question: What does God look like? Actually, the idea of a bearded old man is outdated, so 105 illustrator and artist residents of Italy designed their portrait of God, and Alan Chies photographed all of them.

The result is a book and an exhibition where I have finally found my own “God.” The project is only visible in a video.
