Landline by Aakash Nihalani

New York artist Aakash Nihalani (AA) has been "skewering" his subjects in Brooklyn as part of a new series of work called "Landline."

Working with bold isometric forms created from bright neon tape, AA transforms outdoor spaces (and often people) into playful installations.

What attracts me to his work is the simplicity and wit of his chosen medium and the way he uses the city as a raw material, distorting space and motion by something as simple as the placement of a line.

His message is similarly straightforward: "Train your mind to look beyond the mundane in life and allow it to become something extraordinary."
