Identity for an artisan bakery in Melbourne’s Carlton neighborhood

Opening a bakery in the Carlton neighborhood of Melbourne, Australia, is no mean feat. It’s filled with incredible Italian restaurants, coffee shops, gelaterias and delightful dessert shops.

Clearly baker Daniel Chirico had it in mind that he must create something unique when he formed this beautiful collaboration with Fabio Ongarato Design, March Studio and P.A.M. Though its design is modern, the organic forms and texture of the wood in the interior fit perfectly with the old brick exterior and surrounds.

By the way, the bread is amazing, too.
