Francesco Cavalli is one of the
founders and the Creative Director of Leftloft, a graphic design studio
established Milan in 1997. The studio started up as a design
collective—the result of a friendship among the founding partners, who met at the Politecnico di Milano while studying urban
planning. Francesco lives in Milan and in New York, where he’s
running the USA studio.
Engaged as teachers at the Milan Politecnico
Faculty of Design, he is also President of the Ministero della
Grafica (the Graphic Ministry), a cultural association promoting
the Italian design culture through events such as “The Italian
Biennale of Graphic Design” and “Spaghetti Grafica” annual
report and exhibitions.
