ETC is a small design studio specializing in identity, publishing and interactive projects for cultural and commercial clients. By combining sophisticated typographic systems with high craftsmanship, the aim of their design work is to elevate business strategies and editorial content. 

ETC has worked on a range of projects recently including the redesign of SPIN magazine, a new identity and signage system for the Brooklyn Historical Society, a curatorial site for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the website redesign of Project Syndicate—one of the world’s largest opinion-focused syndicates, disseminating commentaries by experts and Nobel Laureates. Other clients include Herman Miller, Nike, Columbia University, Log and The Heckscher Foundation for Children.
