Christopher Jenner started his studio
in London in 2010.
Born in South Africa, he graduated in Cape Town, then set off on a period of extended travel, living in Paris, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong. This journey, coupled with a childhood passion for indigenous culture, continues to effect an ethnographic imprint in his projects.
Storytelling forms a central role in Christopher’s work. His strategic approach is cultivated through an in-depth explorative and research process. His work often reconciles past and present, elevating heritage and tradition in the contemporary era, while capturing an emotive, magical spirit.
In 2012, Christopher presented his first studio story with the acclaimed installation “The Looking Glass House” and the toy-like collection “Swell” at the Salone del Mobile, Milano. The same year he was awarded British Breakthrough Talent for 2012 by FX
magazine, and in 2013 he was appointed creative director for Eurostar. His work is regularly featured in the global press.
