David Sherwin

David Sherwin has worn many hats in his design career: graphic designer, creative director, user experience designer, researcher and design writer. (Unofficial roles include drummer, photographer and rock climber.)

He is currently an interaction design director at frog, a global product strategy and design firm, where he leads interdisciplinary teams in the creation of novel products, services and experiences on behalf of leading brands and nonprofit organizations.

David’s books include Creative Workshop: 80 Challenges to Sharpen Your Design Skills and Success by Design: The Essential Business Reference for Designers, both published by HOW Books/F&W Media and translated into multiple languages.

He lives in Oakland, California with his wife, writer and teacher Mary Paynter Sherwin, where he enjoys cooking, yoga and obsessing over where to find the best dark chocolate during his travels.
