Tatsuo Horiuchi is a 73-year-old who can do artistic wonders with an Excel spreadsheet.

Horiuchi started playing around with Excel as a drawing tool when he realized that people were making graphs with the well-known software application. Since other free drawing programs were clumsy and Excel came pre-loaded on his computer, he decided to experiment with it solely as a graphic tool.

His creations make me think that we shouldn’t feel trapped with the tools that we’re expected to use. Fax art, anyone?
