Print work for Flow Festival

Flow Festival 2011 was designed by Tsto, a Helsinki-based design studio founded by Johannes Ekholm, Inka Järvinen, Jaakko Pietiläinen, Jonatan Eriksson, Matti Kunttu and Antti Uotila.

The visual language created for the identity is exciting, dynamic and playful. They combine custom typography and colorful illustration by Santtu Mustonen in a rhythmic way, well suited for an outdoor music festival. The identity is executed consistently well across stationary, posters, bus stop ads and their website.

Looking through the work, I was ready to see the typography and illustrations jump off the page. Working with video production Beige/Harmaa and musician Matti Pentikainen, they made this a reality. The identity comes to life in this 30-second clip for the festival.
