Photograher Timothy Allen documents The Buzludzha Monument. The monument was constructed in 1981 to commemorate the founding of the Bulgarian Socialist movement. It doesn’t just commemorate, it boasts the then powerful communist state. Also, it apparently contains a time capsule with a message to future generations. Since the revolution of 1989 and the fall of the communist party, it sits abandoned and empty.
