Vintage-inspired design has steadily grown in popularity over the last several years and is often misused and/or poorly executed. However, when done right—like the folks from Perky Bros. have done with the Woodland Wine Merchant branding—it has the potential to cause even the staunchest of modernist designers to shed a single envious tear of respect.

Perky Bros. put an impressive amount of care and thought into every detail of the brand. From the “W” and “M” letters that are subtly integrated into the beautifully illustrated, art deco-inspired fox pattern, to the tasteful use of a unique yet appropriate color palette, this design delivers. And it’d be a damn shame to overlook our favorite detail, the “security” feature printed on the gift cards which reads “ORIGINAL DOCUMENT PRINTED IN TEENY TINY 3.5PT TYPE.”
