Nike's private preview space in NYC.

Imagine if all retail stores were as unique as this? This technicolor beaut is for the new Nike Women's Collection Fall season preview, unfortunately not a permanent space (though we can console ourselves with these lovely photos).

Set designer Robert Storey and creative director Jen Brill got together for tea and biscuits. Just kidding, they created a shopping experience full of diffused lighting and LED strips for the private preview. The space is full of optical-illusion doorways and geometric windows lined with neon ultraviolet, pinks, lime-greens and blues. It's like a giant, blushing mood ring, but for Nike gear. It makes me feel giddy, like I want to have my birthday party there as well as gladly hand over my credit card.

So many things today are described as "immersive experiences," however I'd happily give Nike a pat on the back for this one, as it's a place I'd definitely like to get lost in. Oh yeah, the shoes and clothes look cool too.
