It’s worth acknowledging when design is so functional you barely notice it.
Medium, created by the original Twitter folk, is a great example of this and gives me some hope for the mainstream Internet. Business objectives seem to compromise even the most well intended digital interfaces, and we're basically punished for reading online by top ten lists, banner ads and tricky text links. Medium comes through with a refreshing design experience that not only allows all users to have a voice, but inspires them to respect imagery in combination with the written word. I hope it lasts.
