Nendo: Wooden Fold Shelf for Conde House

Made out of interlocking wooden boards, the “fold” shelving unit by Nendo is oriented in different positioned angles. Debuting at Spazio Pontaccio during Salone del Mobile in Milano, the system uses the superior craftsmanship of Japanese manufacturer Conde House, making the joints appear seamless—as though single boards have been bent and interwoven like paper chains or a woven textile. Looking at the shelves, it seems virtually impossible to know how the parts are connected.

The Bird Photo Booth is the first feeder which has been developed to house an iPhone, iPod touch and GoPro set, giving one the ability to observe bird activity up close and personal via a live stream to their iPad, computer or other mobile device through a Wi-Fi or bluetooth connection.

Skateboarding has always been a big part of my life. Stoked that over the past few years I have seen many creative ways to recycle and reuse old skate decks, from women’s handbags to frames for posters. But this is something I had never seen until recently, and I think it is brilliant. It is tiles made from used decks treated and used in kitchens, counters, etc.
