commute—a simple but elegant proposal for bike-friendly (or

Tuesday night was the premiere of New York–based artist Leo
Villareal’s newest project, The Bay Lights. This massive LED installation
illuminates the entire space between the deck and signature peaks of
suspension cables that fill out the iconic silhouette of San Francisco’s
Bay Bridge. |
Lush photography, simple and light-handed infographics, and fun
comparative views like “human vision” vs. “tiger vision” make this app
for the World Wildlife Fund easy and enjoyable to dive into for all ages—something we know is not easy to achieve. |

to display an animal-equivalent head to match your face and mimic your expressions. Having recently finished a face recognition game, we not only appreciate how responsive the software seems but its attempt to engage one’s “empathy” neurons. |
