Back in October of 2010 I came across these cargo vessels designed by PostlerFerguson. I won’t lie, it was love at first site except they were prototypes and not available to the public. It was a test of patience, but my prayers were answered last month when Papafoxtrot (coolest name for a toy company, right?) started selling them. Sometimes it’s worth the wait for the things you love.

As a creative I easily dismiss buying and surrounding myself with beautiful objects as an obsession… or as my mom calls it, a toy addiction. For me, these “toys” are a source of inspiration to my daily existence. That’s why I’m happy to see creatives like PostlerFerguson and Papafoxtrot joining forces to make new objects I can buy instantly rather than wait five years to find on eBay or the bottom of a dusty flea market box.

I love that the logo on the box is from the naval signal flag alphabet.
