Pina trailer

If you haven’t seen this film you need to. We were by no means fans of dance (it seemed too bougie and high brow) but when we saw our idol of interview, Charlie Rose, sit down with one of our favorite directors, Wim Wenders, our interest was piqued. The compositions of the shots, overall art direction and pacing of this movie is fantastic and inspiring.

Check out Wim telling Charlie why it took him twenty plus years to wrap his head around making Pina.

Indeed a movie not to be missed. See it in the 3-d version for a really astounding experience. Wim Wenders made incredible use of 3-D without it being bombastic as most directors do. Plus there are some incredible dance pieces that will amaze you with the complexity of them.
