What I can say about this guy can be boiled down to two words: El Maestro.
Alongside Rodin, he’s the one who opened my eyes to sculpture, to volume, to material. I immediately melt upon seeing one of his works, which are, for me, an endless source of inspiration, ideas and urges. The fact that I am so interested in his work is fairly symptomatic of the fact that I am often more inspired by sculptors, photographers and painters than I am by designers. I find his work to be full of warmth, humane.
