The ZEB Pilot House by Snohetta is a plus house, which means that it actually produces more energy than it uses (one step beyond a carbon-neutral or zero-emission home). Living in a plus house would be like eating pancakes that tone your abs. Every. Single. Day.

The home’s tilted roof positions its solar panels and collectors towards the sun while simultaneously serving as a giant rainwater collector. In addition, the home is loaded with energy wells in the ground, a gray-water recovery system, and beautiful natural details like walls made from firewood, stones, and bricks.
