Toilet Paper Magazine is a collaboration between Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan and Italian photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari.
Ferrari describes the collaboration as a “mental outburst of shared ideas.” In an interview with The New Yorker, Cattelan explains that every issue starts with a theme, such as love or greed. Based around the theme, the imagery featured in the magazine is created from scratch.
The result is 21 spreads of surreal, arresting imagery. For those who live in NYC, check out Maurizio Cattelan: All at the Guggenheim.
