The 18-x-24-inch poster

We round off our week of posts with some local flair. This fall, Portland played host to the inaugural XOXO fest, organized by Andy McMillan and Andy Baio. While this “arts and technology festival celebrating disruptive creativity” didn’t exactly focus on Portland itself, it also couldn’t have been held anywhere else.

Rising out of the aftermath is this beautiful tribute poster designed by Jolby & Friends. It’s packed to the gills with patterns, textures and Portland references. It’s one of those pieces that you can spend hours staring at and still find new details. This is a perfect example of what Jolby does best—explosion of the mind.

In true, keeping-it-local Portland fashion, the poster was hand-silkscreened by Man vs Ink, and it can be purchased from Buy Olympia or Land Gallery.
